T'was the Night WIP

*the full Title is "T'was the Night Before Christmas WIP"
For our final project in still life painting we had 3 themes we could choose: casual (scenes you would happen upon), colorful (bright colorful objects aka nothing that is black white or bland colored) or high key (all values in the painting 50% or lower). I chose the first theme and my original sketch idea was me working my little bopeep bonnet for dicken's faire but since i never made it well...my next idea was to paint a collection of things on a self as if there was a night light casting light on them but that looked awful so I went with this idea. This is a wip since there is going to be a x-mas tree branch with 3 red berries between the two redish candles. And the forground may be littled but as always tell me what you think.
