In my summer class we were given theme/topic and asked to draw a number of images from it.

Class: Adv. Perspective

Really cool how you made it look like an actual painting, especially the bleeding effect with the paint. The textures to show the fog and fauna are also really cool, in how they blend together and jsut round up the painting very well.

thank you very much. most of the piece is a drawing in graphite on bristol board then a custom worn partment was dropped in with some painting and special brushes on top it was completed with 2 others in less than 2 days.

I put it in my shoutboard with a thumb of the pic and will put a link in the dicribtion. I am a subcriber too I'm here to much not to be =^.^=

o my god this is amazing. I love how a lot of the lines on the samurai actually look like ink brush strokes.

thank you very much! i am guessing you are refering to it looking like traditional media, if you are then yes that was my intent. A good potrait of the drawing and shading were done by hand with graphite on bristol board, then scanned into the computer where I tried to make it look as traditional as it could. This may sound strange but I like digital pieces where you can't actually tell its digital not traditional media the most.
